One wouldn’t expect to find a Pacific Northwest style lodge in central Florida but indeed, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge (deluxe resort), Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek Villas and Cabins (deluxe villa resorts) will satisfy your desire for a western adventure. From the outside, its appearance looks like the lodges from the national parks, formed by Teddy Roosevelt’s vision along with the spirit of exploration and conservation.
Once through the front lobby doors, the awe-inspiring view begs you to look up at the 8-story atrium, with its large teepee chandeliers, two 55-foot tall totem poles and a massive 80 foot tall fireplace that represents the geology of the Grand Canyon. Kids and adults alike will be drawn to the bridge crossing the bubbling spring that flows into the main Silver Creek Spring pool. All the while, you can hear the grand music of Aaron Copeland filling the large, open space. This lobby is truly something to experience.
Guest Rooms
The lodge itself boasts 661 guest rooms including suites. Its design is one that is spacious enough to offer ample room but maintains that cozy lodge feel. The standard rooms can accommodate up to a family of four and one child under three in a crib. While you will find the standard one king/two queens option found in most Disney deluxe hotels, this hotel offers the ever-popular bunk bed rooms which is perfect for the family with kids! All rooms here also have a balcony or a ground floor patio to enjoy the outdoors. There are also disabled accessible rooms available upon request.
Each room is themed to match the wilderness feel of the lodge. The wood framed headboard features a beautiful nature scene of the northwestern territories along with the wood log styled furniture which sets an earth tone feel to the room. The bathrooms are covered in wood-look tile and feature two sinks which separate from the toilet and shower area. This allows more family members time to get ready in the morning and before bed.

Club Level Rooms
Guests staying in the Club Level rooms will have access to a private floor, accessible with your Magic Band. Staying on this floor gives guests access to the Old Faithful Club Lounge where refreshments and snacks are offered throughout the day including a continental breakfast in the morning, afternoon snacks, hot and cold hors d’oeuvres in the evening and desserts and spirits later at night. Some additional amenities include turn down service and two concierge desk cast members available to assist guests. With all the wonderful perks included, Club Level guests can expect to pay a higher price per night for these rooms.

If you are a Disney Vacation Club member or simply need more space for your family, consider the redesigned Boulder Ridge Villas or Copper Creek Villas & Cabins. There are currently 350 villas and 26 cabins that carryover the Wilderness Lodge feel recalling the railroad hotels of the 1860’s American old west. These accommodations feature deluxe studios, one, two and three bedroom villas plus cabins that can sleep up to 8 adults. Accessible rooms are available upon request.

Character Dining
The restaurants at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge are among the finest that Disney has to offer. Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White serves fine cuisine along with some of the beloved characters from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This spectacular dinner offers a choice of individual plated entrées and shared starters and desserts that the whole family will love. Reservations recommended.
Table Service Dining
Whispering Canyon Café is a great place for a fun dining experience the whole family can enjoy. There is no whispering at Whispering Canyon Cafe. It’s a fun dining experience with good times and delicious home-style food. Mosey on in for some bottomless platters of delicious grub. Reserve your spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner and be sure to ask for the ketchup! Reservations recommended.
Quick Service
For a quick service meal at the Wilderness Lodge you will have a few options to choose from. Geyser Point Bar and Grill or the Roaring Fork will serve up breakfast with Mickey Waffles and eggs, specialty breakfasts or gourmet sandwiches and pizza during the day and evening. Geyser Point Bar and Grill includes beautiful views of Bay Lake while enjoying your delicious meal. The Trout Pass Pool Bar offers some refreshing drinks near the Silver Creek Pool and Territory Lounge is a great place to unwind with a refreshing drink and snack at the end of a busy day at the parks. In room dining, with an extensive menu, is also available. You will not go hungry with the food options at Wilderness Lodge!
Pools & Recreation
Pools
The Silver Creek Spring pool area is the main pool for the resort. It is themed with pine trees and landscaping which make you feel like you have step into a woodsy swimming hole found in one of our nation’s parks. The bubbling spring in the lobby flows out along a rocky stream and empties into the Silver Creek Spring pool. While you are swimming, the nearby Fire Rock geyser just may go off and shoot water 120 feet into the air. It’s a great place to recharge with a refreshing beverage poolside or a relaxing soak in one of the whirlpool hot tubs. The kids will love to play in the children’s water play area featuring a dumping bucket and mini water slides which are the perfect size for little ones. You can also find a quieter pool at the Hidden Springs pool adjacent to Boulder Ridge Villas.
Recreation
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has a number of recreational opportunities from fishing and boat rental to campfires and Disney movies under the stars. Rent a standard bike or a fun surrey bike for a pedal to the neighboring Fort Wilderness Campground. When you need a fun place to play some video games check out the Buttons & Bells Arcade on the first floor. Be sure to review the resort’s activity schedule for all of the recreation events during your stay.
Fitness
The Sturdy Branches Health Club is available 24-hours a day located at the main Boulder Ridge Villas building. This fully equipped health club has Life Fitness machines, free weights and cardio equipment.
Transportation
Boats
While staying at the Wilderness Lodge, Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, guests will have the option to take a relaxing boat ride across Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon to the Magic Kingdom, Fort Wilderness Campground and Contemporary Resort. These relaxing boat rides can be found beyond Silver Creek Pool and past Fire Rock Geyser.
Buses
To reach all the other parks, guests of the Wilderness Lodge, Boulder Ridge and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins will make their way to the bus stop located in front of the Boulder Ridge Villas. The buses leave approximately every 20 minutes to each destination, but times vary daily. The Disney’s buses transports guests to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach.
Personal Vehicle
Guests who bring a vehicle to the resort also have the option to drive themselves to the theme parks and park for free. Be sure to have the resort parking pass in the vehicle window for free parking at all of Walt Disney World Theme parks during the length of your stay. Please note that you will be charged an overnight parking fee at the resort.

Electrical Water Pageant – A beautiful light parade dances across the lagoon almost every night (dependent on weather). To view this playful water parade there are great locations along the water front starting around 9:30pm.
Disney’s Magical Express – Flying into Orlando for your vacation? Make sure to tell your Kingdom Destinations Travel Advisor to reserve your spot on Disney’s Magical Express to utilized free transportation between the Orlando airport and your resort. Disney’s Magical Express will also take care of your luggage if you arrive at the airport prior to 10pm. No need to stop by baggage claim and pick up your luggage because Disney’s Magical Express will grab it and deliver it right to your room!
Complimentary WiFi – All guests can log in to the wireless internet in their guest rooms and throughout the parks.
Online Check-in – Check in online prior to your arrival to receive a text message with your room number when it is available to you. This option allows for you to bypass the check in desk if you wish.

Jogging Trails – 2.5 miles of wooded trails can be accessed between Wilderness Lodge and the Fort Wilderness Campground for exercise or leisurely strolls.
