Review: EPCOT INTERNATIONAL Festival of the Arts

My family and I were able to take a last minute trip to Disney World, in order to experience EPCOT INTERNATIONAL Festival of the Arts, and I am so glad we did! Being that this is only the second year that EPCOT has offered this festival, I wasn’t sure what to expect, as we did not attend last year (it only lasted 4 days). This year, however, the festival has been expanded to last January 12, 2018- February 19, 2018. It is something you can experience 7 days a week as well, throughout those dates.

There is so much to see and do during this festival, and it very quickly became one of my favorite things to experience. I will definitely be looking forward to this festival next year, and every year following.

If you have ever been to the Food and Wine Festival or Flower and Garden, you are familiar with how EPCOT hosts its festivals and that they have their Festival Passports available, right next to the park maps upon entering the park. The Festival of the Arts is no different. This is extremely helpful to have so you can know what to expect from the festival happenings and to be able to get a game plan for what you would like to see, experience, and taste.

Festival Passport

What should you expect at the EPCOT INTERNATIONAL Festival of the Arts?

You will be able to experiences artful exclusives such as:

Fun Photo Ops

Artful food and drinks

Deconstructed Cheesecake

Rose Gold Cupcake

Incredible live performances

Chalk Art

Chalk-Art In-Progress

The Art of Disney Attraction Photos

These were amazing to see! They are rarely before seen concept art for some of the attractions. This was truly magical to see. This display is found in the Odyssey building.

Fun Merchandise

They have such cute merchandise, and even some passholder exclusive items. I love hats, so I had to get one of those. I am also in love with the note cards set as well.

Festival Markets

All throughout the park, you have the opportunity to stop by and visit more than 50 Disney artists (and visiting artists) showcasing everything from fine art, jewelry, marbling, and so much more.

We stumbled upon a great booth where we met a Disney artist who was drawing pictures, for free! She was so kind and my girls LOVED that they were able to receive their very own sketch, drawn just for them, from a Disney artist. It was magical!

Disney Artist Drawing Minnie for Guests

As you can see, this special event is not just a “stuffy, tour of the art museum” type of event. This is an event that has something for everyone! It truly is “fun for the whole family” and I can not wait to go back and see what they have in store, for next year!
