Toy Story Land

Come be shrunk to the size of a toy and play around in Andy’s backyard. You can hitch a ride on the back of Slinky Dog, grab a bite to eat at Andy’s Lunch Box, play around with the Aliens, be recruited by the Green Army Men and Women and even meet your most beloved Toy Story characters.

We will give you a glimpse into all you can expect to see and do while in this playful land. Disney did it right! They have included everything from Tinker Toy railings to Andy’s fence line, to incredible detail in the ride ques and so much more. It is so hard to capture the magic and nostalgia in these pictures, but we hope they will tie you over until you can visit for yourself.

As you enter Toy Story Land, you are greeted by none other than Woody, himself. This is a great Photopass opportunity.

Once you grab your picture with Woody, you cannot help but see the incredible Slinky Dog Dash.

This roller coaster is so smooth, so fun, and has such charm. There are 2 launches, which was surprising! You are also serenaded by another familiar face, at the end of the attraction. In order to ride, children must be 38 inches. But, not to worry, if your little one is not quite tall enough….Cast Members are giving out return passes for them to bring back and ride once they are tall enough.

If you continue into the land, the next thing you will come across is likely to be Green Army Men and Women. They roam the land looking for new recruits. Be sure to grab them for a selfie and autograph. They’re happy to have you “drop and give them 20.” Only kidding.

Then the next thing you will notice will be Andy’s Lunch Box. You will want to be sure to stop by and grab a bite to eat. If you are lucky, you can sit at the table where Andy has left the note from his mom. It reads “You’re my favorite deputy.” Love, Mom. Check out the menu options, below.

Once you have ridden Slinky Dog Dash, taken selfies, grabbed a bite to eat….then you will find yourself at the other new attraction, Alien Swirling Saucers. This is such a fun ride as well! It doesn’t swirl you around too much and is easier on your stomach (for those of you who get motion sickness) than the Tea Cups, at Magic Kingdom. Buzz greets you as you approach the standby que.

This land is so immersive and so playful, I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent there and am very much looking forward to my next trip. I am counting down the days!

When you visit, be sure to make every effort to recognize the attention to detail that the incredible imagineers were sure to include in this design…including popsicle benches, Andy’s footprints, hidden Mickey’s, and so much more. Also, you get a completely different experience when you visit this land in the day than you do at night. So if time allows, visit it more than once and at different times of day to get the full experience.

For those of you who love Toy Story Mania, it is still here as well. It has been given an all new standby entrance and que, which I am obsessed with! Here is a little peek:
